Using life-like baby dolls, Guys and Dolls provides teens with an opportunity to realize one of the consequences of early sexual involvement -teen parenting. Guys and Do/Is affords teens a realistic experience to help them learn the personal responsibilities of parenting. Based on the concept that teens who are given accurate and convincing information, in a directive model, will usually make good
decisions, we challenge teens to be sexually abstinent until marriage. Guys and Do/Is teaches abstinence is the only 100% effective way to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Session topics include:

• Getting to know one another ice breakers, values and
  goal setting, how to get what you want and what you
  don't want.
• "It's a Battle," influence of alcohol in a dating
  situation, decision making -hard and easy, good and bad.
• Costs of having a baby, legal information about paternity and child support enforcement.
• Consequences of early sexual involvement: physical, intellectual, emotional, and social.
• Videos of actual teens relating their own experiences of sexual involvement and parenting.
• Dating, role-playing, and refusal skills.
• Discussion of the "baby" experience, pros and cons of
  teen parenting,"l learned ..."
